Depending on the type of floor and the pattern to be produced, there are several ways of assembling and fixing.
Mosaic parquet
If the mosaic parquet is given a finished surface at the factory (varnish, oil), a groove is milled in the laying station on the underside of the lamella packs into which an aluminum wire is pressed. In this way, squares with seven lamellae each are created in the cube pattern. In a further step, four squares can be combined to a finished element (2x2 or even 4x1 squares).
If the mosaic parquet leaves the factory untreated and the surface treatment is only applied after laying, it is sufficient to just glue the lamellas together with a net to form tiles. This variant is more common.
In addition to the common cube laying pattern, there is also the English or the parallel pattern.
Vertical lamella parquet
The lamellas are placed on edge so that the visible surface is formed by the narrow sides of the slats, which are approx. 8 mm wide. When setting up, bad sides can be turned down.
