After the glue has been applied, the lamellas are pressed into a solid wood panel. Various types of gluing presses are used, which are operated mechanically, pneumatically or electrically. Comfortable presses can be easily adapted to the different geometries of the boards.
The pressing pressure must be maintained until the glue has hardened. The pressing time varies with the type of glue used. There are also glue systems that are technically hardened, for example with high frequency radiation.
