Production approach
Traditional manufacturing with conventional machines
Standard machines and hand held machines are used in traditional manufacturing. This manual production of an individual staircase is labor-intensive and requires an experienced specialist. The stairs are drawn on a scale of 1:1; the outer contours of the steps, stringers and handrails are cut out and glued onto the solid wood panels to be processed. Even in the case of manual production, the stairs are usually digitally constructed using stair construction software. The outer contours of the components are then printed from the CAD program on sheets of paper and stuck onto the board material as a template.
