After all long sides of the glued laminated timber beam have been finished during calibration, only the front sides now show traces of gluing, such as offset of the individual lamellas or glue leakage. The last production step is therefore the cutting of the unclean ends and the trimming to a desired length. The exact dimension depends on the transport possibilities and varies depending on the manufacturer. Common standard delivery lengths range from 12m to 18m.
