The WEKO Weitmann & Konrad GmbH & Co. KG has been supplying liquid application systems to the wood-based panel industry for over 60 years, i.e. for chipboard, OSB and fibreboard plants. The flexibly adaptable systems support manufacturers of wood-based panels with a precisely dosed application of water, release agents and other additives. In addition to the wood-based materials industry, WEKO systems are used in the printing and paper industry, as well as in the production of composites, films and fabrics.
WEKO-Fluid Application Systems (WFA) such as WEKO-Flow with WEKO-Sigma guarantee with their rotor technology the liquid application in the form of finest droplets over the entire width of the fibre or flake mat. The application quantity automatically adapts to the machine speed. Separating agents are added in very small quantities as an additive as required.
In addition to its headquarters near Stuttgart, the company has production sites in Germany and Brazil, and its own sales and service branches in Italy, Great Britain, the USA and Brazil. In addition, WEKO works together with agents worldwide, who not only market the products, but also offer the proven service. WEKO experts worldwide provide support in the selection of application systems and their integration into the production process.
