The goal of Rehnen Maschinenbau GmbH is to build the best edge sanding machine in the world. The top model is the automatic edge processing machine, which enables several processing steps on the edges of flat workpieces in one pass: edge sanding, milling (radius or chamfering), profile sanding or brushing are possible. The machine design is modular, i.e. the automatic edge processing machine can be equipped with various edge sanding units, trimming units, profile sanding units and brush units as required. Among other things, the machine is ideal for processing solid wood stair steps.
The portfolio also includes other woodworking machines, including sanding and polishing machines as well as roundwood sanding machines. A wide range of transport and handling equipment from Rehnen helps to lift, tilt and transport heavy panels or to deposit freshly painted workpieces: shelf trolleys, lifting tables, painting tables etc. The company's customers are therefore mainly joineries, including numerous manufacturers of staircases.
